Princeton, N.J.—Assist America, the premier provider of global emergency services through employee benefit plans, has launched an application for Android Smartphone users into the marketplace. This application joins the website optimizations already available for iPhone and Blackberry users through Assist America Mobile.
The application allows the company’s more than 30 million members—who are frequently traveling for business or pleasure—to view and navigate the Assist America website seamlessly on Android smartphones, without need for resizing or extensive scrolling. Members are provided with a one-touch connection to our Operations Center and access to pre-trip information and Assist Alerts, simply by logging in with their reference number. Non-members can learn more about the company, as well as read service descriptions and find information for students.
“We are very excited to have the Android application available for our members who are traveling all over the world with their smartphones,” says Stephanie Croquez, Vice President of Business Development for Assist America. “We developed this application and our other smartphone optimizations with their needs in mind—providing a quick and simple way to activate our services, and practical, relevant information for their travels, presented in an easy-to-navigate format.”
