Princeton, N.J.—Assist America, the premier provider of global emergency services through employee benefit plans, announced today that the Assist America® Mobile App is now available on both Google Play for Droid users and in the Apple App Store for use with the iPhone.

The Assist America Mobile applications for Android and iPhone provide members with a one-touch connection to our Operations Center. Members can place an emergency phone call just by tapping a button, as well as view Assist Alerts, use our U.S. embassy locator or view Pre-Trip Information. The U.S. embassy locator, available only on the iPhone, utilizes Google Maps to allow users to search for the U.S. embassy nearest to their location, anywhere in the world, using their mobile device’s GPS.

Assist America has also released a SecurAssist Mobile application that allows members to view Intelligence Updates, learn more about SecurAssist as well as contact us to inquire about services. It is also available on Google Play and in the Apple App Store.

“We are very excited to launch the Assist America Mobile App as a way to continue helping our members become well-informed travelers,” says Stephanie Croquez, Vice President of Business Development for Assist America, Inc.  “The App was developed with their needs in mind—providing a quick and simple way to activate our services, practical, relevant information for their travels, and even an easy-to-use embassy locator.”

The Assist America Mobile application was developed by Weblications, Inc., of Princeton, N.J., in conjunction with Assist America, Inc.
