—Health Alliance Medical Plans, the largest managed care organization in downstate Illinois, announced today it is partnering with Assist America, Inc., to provide global emergency assistance services for its members.
Assist America will support Health Alliance policyholders, including those whose plans are administered through Health Alliance subsidiary HCH Administration, with many services designed to provide assistance if they are ever injured or become ill while traveling anywhere more than 100 miles away from home. Services include medical referral and monitoring, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, hospital admission guarantee, companion transport and much more.
