Assist America Global Emergency Medical Assistance Services

Lexington, Ky., and Princeton, N.J., U.S.A.—(April 1, 2009)—Bluegrass Family Health, Inc., a not-for-profit company offering group health Insurance to businesses in Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and the Metro Nashville and Knoxville areas of Tennessee, announced today that it has partnered with Assist America, Princeton, N.J., the premier provider of global emergency services through employee benefit plans, to protect its members with emergency travel assistance.

Effective immediately, Assist America will support Bluegrass Family Health members and their families through their group health benefits plans with an array of services, including medical referral and monitoring, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, hospital admission guarantee, bedside visit and more, if they become ill or injured while traveling 100 miles or more away from home, or in another country.
