USAble Life Announces Global Emergency Assistance Services Program for New and Existing Group Customers Little Rock, A.R.— (September 23, 2008) —USAble Life (USAL), a life insurer dedicated to meeting the needs of employers and employees through a full line of group and individual products, has signed an agreement with Assist America, Inc., to provide global emergency assistance services for its new and existing group life members. Effective Oct. 1, 2008, Assist America will support USAL members and their families with an array of services, including medical referral and monitoring, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, hospital admission guarantee, companion transport and more, if they become ill or injured while traveling 100 miles or more away from home or in another country. The global emergency assistance services program is a value-added benefit to not only group life employers but to the employees who use the services. “By teaming with Assist America for global emergency assistance services, we are giving our members a valuable living benefit that safeguards their health and well-being during travel away from home, and protects them from potential unexpected medical expenses as well,” says Stu Rubinstein, executive vice president of life and disability for USAL.
