Hurricane Francine Set to Impact Gulf Coast
Hurricane Francine is intensifying and expected to make landfall near Morgan City, Louisiana, on Sept. 11th. Evacuations are in effect for parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas as the storm brings heavy rainfall, strong winds, and dangerous storm surges. Flash Flooding, power outages, and road closures are likely across the region.
Authorities have issued multiple warnings, including hurricane and storm surge warnings for coastal areas. Localized floodings and isolated tornadoes are expected through Sept. 13th. Prepare for severe weather and possible disruptions to transportation, utilities, and essential services. Residents should remain vigilant and follow evacuation orders as conditions continue to change.
