Travel Disruptions Expected in Greece Due to Strike
A nationwide strike in Greece is expected to disrupt travel as air traffic controllers halt operations on February 28th. All commercial flights in and out of Athens Venizelos Airport will be grounded for 24 hours. The airport, which handles over 400 daily flights, is Greece’s busiest and a major international hub. Essential flights, such as medical evacuations and humanitarian aid, will continue as scheduled.
