U.S. State Department Releases Updated Advisory for Lebanon
In the wake of the recent events in Israel and Gaza, the U.S. State Department has released a Level 4: Do Not Travel advisory for the neighboring country of Lebanon. The advisory further specified that avoiding the borders of both Syria and Israel is strongly recommended as the U.S. Embassy in Beirut will be limited in its capacity to help amid the unpredictability of current events. The State Department encourages U.S. citizens living and working in Lebanon to be aware of the risks and to further evaluate and review their personal safety plans.
