Many major French cities are feeling the effects of a series of protests sweeping across the nation in the wake of the latest pension reform. While many smaller, impromptu strikes have taken place recently, the next organized, countrywide demonstration is anticipated to take place on March 28th. While international air travel into France remains largely unaffected, domestic air traffic has been impacted by recent strikes around Orly Airport near Paris. Traffic within the metropolitan areas of the country have been the most affected by heavily populated city streets and public transportation operating in reduced capacity during large scale demonstrations.
